Recently, I visited my favorite local restaurant and while there had a great talk with the owner. He asked me a question that took me by surprise, Why are there so many Realtors in Bedford VA? To me, there are not that many and most of them work other areas.

So I asked him, is competition good for his business? He said what do you mean? I responded “you have competition right across the street, how would it change your business if another competitor opened next door?” He responded with “I wish someone would!” You see he feels more competitors would enhance his Bedford business and get more clients in to the area.. i.e. into his Bedford business. So competition is good..

Like it or not, Bedford Realtors are in competition but also in business together. We compete for the buyers and seller but we have to work with each other.We show each others property and negotiate deals together, often several times a month. October 2009  Wendy Witt and Scott Fogleman started something new. They left a independent Bedford VA Real Estate Company for Keller Williams. One year later, they opened a Bedford VA Real Estate Office in Centertown Bedford. They then started helping two very successful agents Tina Friar and Teresa Polinek launch a Keller Williams Franchise in Lynchburg.

Celebrating one year on Bridge St selling Real estate in Bedford VA. They had a ribbon cutting ceremony with the Bedford Area Chamber of Commerce.
